Manifesto 2010

As part of the 2010 General Election, NCODP campaigned to ensure the voice's of disabled people within Norfolk are heard.

There are more than 180,000 disabled people in Norfolk. We and our families represent a very large and important group of voters.

Its time to get your voices heard for the election on 6th May!

You can view a full list of candidates for your area at the BBC Election website

Following our campaigning meetings last year we finally arrived at the moment to find out whether the candidates for the General Election 2010 are genuinely interested in committing to equality for disabled people.

Disabled people and their families will have the opportunity to ask the candidates where they and their party stand on key equality issues and precisely what they are going to do about them. Some of these issues have been identified by NCODP members, but of course, you are free to raise anything you want.

We are expecting a large turn out and hope that you will promote it locally so we can show that the disability community and our allies need to be taken seriously.
