LINk - Norfolk Local Involvement Network

NCODP believes that Disabled people have a very important role to play in shaping all services to make them as accessible as possible to everyone in Norfolk.

This is why they have agreed to work with Norfolk LINk by employing Anne Telfer as a LINk worker to work with disabled people, including disabled people from different cultures and lifestyles and local disability organisations.

What is Norfolk LINk?

Norfolk LINk is an independent network of local people and groups which aims to give communities a stronger voice in how health and social care services are delivered.

Who is Anne Telfer?

Anne is a disabled person who works for both NCODP and Norfolk LINk, 3 days a week. Her job is to ensure that the voices of disabled people are listened to and included in every aspect of Norfolk LINk’s work so that disability becomes part of the bigger picture.

Anne would love to hear from anyone who is interested in getting involved in Norfolk LINk or has a good story to tell about their experience of Health or Social Care services.

How do I get involved in Norfolk LINk?

Any way you like! The easiest way is to join LINk. That way, you can receive information directly from Norfolk LINk and take part in the latest consultations through the Have Your Say page on their website. If there is a particular issue you are interested in, you can join a group that focuses on a specific area like Maternity or alternatively just work behind the scenes in your own time.
