Norfolk Coalition of Disabled People win Learning in the Workplace Champion Award

For the second time in a month, the Norfolk Coalition of Disabled People have received an awarded for their outstanding accomplishments in Employment and Training.

Earlier in the month NCODP scoped first prize at the Breakthrough UK awards in recognition of their excellence in the recruitment and employment of disabled employees.
Now Eileen Wakefield, training coordinator for NCODP has won the Learning in the Workplace Champion Award.

The prize is part of Norwich City College VQ Day Employer Awards 2010, which seeks to celebrate not only the achievements of the colleges students, but also the employers who make it possible.

Eileen's award for Learning in the Workplace Champion was designed for "for any individual, managing director, HR/ training manager, or an individual employee, who has championed learning within their workplace, promoting the benefits of learning".

Eileen will be presented with her award on the 14th July at the Coalition's Framingham Pigot offices, any media organisation who would like to cover the presentation or interview Eileen are more then welcome.
