What are the main aims/objectives of your group/organisation?

We have two sorts of membership groups:

Full member groups are groups that are led by disabled people that state in their constitutions that the majority of their committee shall be disabled. The majority of voting rights will also be held by disabled people. Full member groups have the right to vote at our AGM.

Affiliate member groups are groups who are led either by non disabled people or with disabled people in the minority but whom are sympathetic to or share the NCODP’s aims and mission statement. The NCODP is committed to assisting in the development of all its member groups
